Building for island conditions

Homes on Bainbridge deal with a lot of moisture: shaded wooded lots, waterfront exposure and long wet winters. That is hard on decks, siding and anything made of wood outdoors. Much of our island work has been rebuilding decks that had reached the end of their life, and we build replacements with drainage, fasteners and materials chosen for these conditions. Cedar shingle siding, which suits a lot of island houses, is another thing we install and repair.

Bainbridge Island has its own city government, so permits for island projects go through the City of Bainbridge Island rather than Kitsap County. We will talk through what your project needs before work begins.
