Deck Builder in Kitsap County

New decks, deck rebuilds, stairs and railings for homes on Bainbridge Island, in Poulsbo, Suquamish and across Kitsap County.

Decks built for Northwest weather

Decks are a big part of what we do at Frond Construction. Around Kitsap County, a deck spends most of the year wet: rain, shade from tall trees and salt air near the water all take a toll on framing, fasteners and boards. Many of the calls we get are for decks that have started to soften, sag or feel loose, and need to be rebuilt rather than patched.

Whether you want a brand-new deck or a replacement for a failing one, we start by looking at what is there, talking through how you want to use the space, and then giving you an estimate.

What we build

  • Cedar decks – warm, natural wood decking, landings and entry steps.
  • Composite decks – low-maintenance gray composite, including multi-level layouts and built-in benches.
  • Deck rebuilds – replacing worn or failing decks, framing included where needed.
  • Stairs, ramps and railings – wood railings, black metal balusters, wide stairs and accessible ramps.
  • Outdoor living features – hot tub surrounds and covered structures like the timber-framed pavilion below.

What neighbors say

Here’s what neighbors on Nextdoor say. Gary B. on Bainbridge Island wrote: We had our failing deck replaced last year by Joey Paul at Frond Construction... He does great work and is a top notch communicator. Highly recommend. Linda & Nelson D. kept it short: He did our deck and it’s fantastic. You can read them all on the homepage.

Where we build decks

We build decks on Bainbridge Island, in Poulsbo and Suquamish, and in other Kitsap County communities nearby such as Kingston, Indianola, Keyport and Silverdale. Frond Construction LLC is a locally owned general contractor (WA Contractor Reg. #FRONDCL793PO), so the same person you talk to about your deck is the one running the job.
